Jess George is the Head of Government & Community Affairs in the East, for Google Fiber. In her 10 years with GFiber, Jess has worked with industry leaders, policy makers and local communities to address issues of access, opportunity and digital inclusion. Prior to joining GFiber, Jess worked for 15 years in the nonprofit field, primarily on issues of immigration policy and civic engagement. Jess serves on the Institute for Emerging Issues National Advisory Board, United Way of the Greater Triangle Board of Directors & The Greenlight Fund Advisory Council. She earned her BA in International Politics from Penn State University.
