Brandon Curry

Network Engineer

Brandon Curry is the Network Engineer at ACE Fiber, a subsidiary of Alcorn County Electric Power Association America’s first rural cooperative. ACE Fiber and ACE Power are located in Corinth in Northeast Mississippi serving around 19000 Electric Members and around 8000 Fiber Subscribers. He began his career as a Voice and Data Technician before moving to be a Softswitch Professional at C Spire. He later advanced to be a Network Engineer for a consulting firm assisting electric cooperatives build and maintain their FTTH networks. In 2020, Brandon joined ACE as a Network Engineer and is now the Manager of Broadband Services overseeing the core network, support, sales, and project management teams. After attending Fiber Connect 2021, he became very invested in the OpTIC program and was instrumental in getting the program off the ground at Northeast Mississipi Community College. He is now 1 of 2 OpTIC instructors for the college which just began its 2nd OpTIC class for 2024.
