Josh Motzer, Brightspeed, has worked the last 23 years within the telecom/broadband industry. His current role as Director Government Affairs and Public Policy for Brightspeed was preceded by various government affairs, technical, and managerial roles at Lumen and its predecessor companies (Sprint, EMBARQ, and CenturyLink). Today, he supports state and federal legislative, regulatory, and public policy priorities across Brightspeed’s 20-state footprint with a top priority being that of copper network modernization. Prior to his public policy roles, Josh managed a field operations team throughout Ohio. Josh is a proud alum of the University of Dayton while also earning his MBA at Ohio Dominican University. He and his wife of 23 years (also UD alum) live in Columbus, Ohio with their three children.
