Career highlights:
• Joined a Nortel/Antec joint venture, acquired by Smallworld, and then GE. As global product manager brought Physical Network Inventory (PNI) to the international telecom/cable market. PNI was the most scalable object-oriented GIS solution in the world; deployed at British Telecom, Deutsche Telecom, Cox Communications, CenturyLink (now Lumen), Cablevision (now Altice USA), and many leading CSPs around the globe.
• Brought the first 100% open-source geospatial web and mobile telecom network operations platform to market. Leveraging the best of consumer app scalability and ease of use, transformed the enterprise system model for deployment speed and scale. The myWorld app was used extensively by Altice USA during the Superstorm Sandy assessment and recovery efforts, garnering accolades from Cablevision leadership, local government, and utility partners.
• Pioneered the use of high-resolution precise 3D mobile imagery, LiDAR and machine learning data analytics for digital field data capture and CAD/GIS integration. Unprecedented data quality enabled CSPs and engineering firms to reduce manual field data collection by 80% or more, accelerate project timelines while dramatically improving fiber design quality.
