Mark Harnen is the North American Sales & Business Development Leader at Transcelestial. He joined Transcelestial in January 2024.
Before his current role, he was the President of Enterprise Wireless, Inc. since December 2015. His career also includes roles as Sales Vice President of Major Accounts at TE Connectivity and Sr. National Sales Manager for North America at Powerwave Technologies. He also served as Global OEM Sales Manager at Andrew Corporation.
Mark holds an MBA in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bradley University.
He is involved in bringing Transcelestial's wireless laser communications technology to mobile network operators (MNOs), Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs), government, and enterprises across North America, as seen in Transcelestial's partnership with Wesco International. He has stated that "The US presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities when it comes to bridging the digital divide."
