Josh Summit is the Director of Engineering for GLO Fiber, which is a subsidary of Shentel Telecommunications Company (Shentel), based in Edinburg, Virgina. Glo Fiber began in 2019 and has since passed over 300K households with high speed fiber. The GLO Fiber extends more than 4,300 miles across six continuous states in the eastern United States. Josh is responsible for the engineering, architecure, design, and permitting for all fiber passings in the GLO Fiber funnel. Josh's telecomuncations career began in 2013, as an OSP engineer. Since then, he has held various engineering and management roles, supplying engineering and construction services in nearly every state and multiple countries. He is an active member in the FBA and currently serves on the infromation technology (IT) commitee. Josh currently resides in Lincolnton, NC with his wife, son, and their goldendoodle.
