Josh Orlowitz is seasoned leader in telecom strategy, financial modeling, and broadband infrastructure. As Director of Strategy and Planning at Bonfire Infrastructure Group, he drives corporate strategy, market selection, product and pricing decisions, investor relations, and go-to-market planning.
Before Bonfire, Josh was an Engagement Manager at CMA Strategy Consulting (acquired by EY-Parthenon), a top-tier telecom consulting firm advising on high-stakes M&A and corporate strategy. He has led over 50 major projects, including capital deployment plans for rural ISPs, fiber M&A due diligence for private equity, and FCC auction strategies for major telcos.
Josh has been at the forefront of shaping billion-dollar broadband investment strategies. He was a key architect behind a major ILEC’s $371 million RDOF strategy, led financial analytics for a $100 million capital plan for one of the largest WISPs in the U.S., and built the financial model and business plan for Southern Ute’s $43.7 million NTIA grant. His expertise extends to executing large-scale fiber deployment plans, including a $35 million FTTP network for Los Alamos County and a $100 million fiberization plan for a rural California LEC.
