at Fiber Connect 2025

Fiber Connect 2025 is proud to offer attendees the opportunity to earn BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs). This is an excellent way to advance your professional development while staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the fiber optic industry.

What Are BICSI CECs?

BICSI CECs are credits awarded to professionals who participate and attend Fiber Connect 2025, June 1-4. These credits help BICSI credential holders maintain their certifications, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to professional growth and excellence in the telecommunications and information technology fields.

How to Earn BICSI CECs at Fiber Connect 2025

1. Be a BICSI Credential Holder
   1. CECs can only be claimed by BICSI credential holders so make sure you have signed up. You can sign up here: https://www.bicsi.org/
2. Attend Sessions
   1. The entirety of Fiber Connect 2025 is pre-approved to receive BICSI CECs. Be sure to review the event schedule and attend sessions and events you believe will best advance your professional goals.
3. Participate Fully
   1. To qualify for CECs, you must attend the entire duration of Fiber Connect 2025. Partial/single-day attendance will not count toward credit requirements.
4. Check-In and Verification
   1. Make sure to get your badge scanned at the start of every session you attend. Event staff will be scanning badges as you enter sessions to record attendance.

How to Claim Your BICSI CECs

After the event, follow these simple steps to claim your credits:

1. Receive Your Attendance Certificate
   1. After Fiber Connect 2025, you will receive a certificate of attendance if records indicate you attended for the full duration of the event. Certificates will be emailed to the address used during registration.
2. Submit Your Credits to BICSI
   1. Log in to your BICSI account and navigate to the certification maintenance section.
   2. Upload your attendance certificate as proof of participation.
   3. Follow the instructions on the BICSI website to complete your submission.
3. Track Your CECs
   1. Once submitted, your credits will be added to your BICSI certification record.
